How to get a Breloom with false swipe in Emerald

Step by step guide to get a Breloom with false swipe and spore in pokemon emerald.Breloom is undoubtedly the best Pokémon to capture other generation 3 Pokémon due to its attack and speed stats, as well as having access to False Swipe, the only move in the game that leaves the opponent with 1 health, and Spore, a status move that puts the opponent to sleep with 100% success.

Adding the sleep status, having a health point and the Ultra Ball, gives a capture rate of 4.3% for Rayquaza at level 70, I'm not saying it, the math says it. See Figure 1.

If after finishing Pokemon Emerald you set out to capture them all, having a high level Breloom with Falstortazo and Spore is the best thing you can do. Here I show you how to get one.

Unfortunately False Swipe did not become a Technical Machine until generation 4, so for Breloom to get it in generation 3, you have to do chain breeding.

Requirements:

1. To have chosen Treecko since we will need Sceptile that learns False Swipe at level 59. This is important, since Mudkip or Torchic won't be useful.
   
   

   

2. You have defeated the Pokemon League and have access to the Battlefront, more exactly to the cave to the south full of Smeargle.

Step 1, capture a male Smeargle.

You go to the Battle Frontier and in the cave down the waterfall to the south you will find many of them. Using Sceptile and after you hit it with False Swipe, the Smeargle won't die and will learn the move by copying it.

Step 2, capture a female Mawile.

In Victory Road on any of the floors below there is a Mawile, it will take you a while because it has only 5% of appearance.

Step 3, take the male Smeargle and the female Mawile to the Day Care.

You will ride your bike until the nursery man gives you an egg from which a male Mawile will hatch, it should not be a problem because the probability of a male is 50%, and it will not be a problem because all the hatchlings know False Swipe.

Step 4, capture a female Shroomish.

You go to Petalburg Woods and capture one, it is not difficult because it appears very often.

Step 5, take the male Mawile and the female Shroomish to the nursery.

Again we put the male Mawile and the female Shroomish in the care of the couple in the daycare until the Shroomish we want comes out. I recommend one with a Adamant or Jolly nature as we only need the attack and speed stats.

Step 6, level up the Shroomish with False Swipe

Unfortunately Spore only learns it until level 54, it is important not to let it evolve until it learns the move, otherwise it won't learn it being a Breloom.
